Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Kriger Danes LLC, a Missouri limited liability company operating as SimpleCurbAppeal (“Company,” “we,” “us”), collects, uses, retains, and protects information about users of the SimpleCurbAppeal platform (“you”).

By using the platform you acknowledge and accept the data practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

We collect only the information necessary to operate the platform and fulfill your orders. Categories include:

Account and Contact Information

• Name
• Email address
• Phone number (optional; used for order updates and dispatch coordination)
• Account credentials (email and hashed password)

Property Information

• Subject property address — entered by you at order placement.
• Parcel metrics derived from public GIS data maintained by Greene County Assessor’s office and the City of Springfield, MO — including lot size, frontage dimensions, and property classification. This data is publicly available and is fetched automatically when you enter a property address.

Order Information

• Services ordered, pricing, and order status history
• Quote responses (accepted / declined line items for ASSESSED orders)
• Proof submission records and review decisions

Payment Information

• Payment is processed by Stripe, Inc. SimpleCurbAppeal does not store, log, or have access to full card numbers, CVV codes, or bank account numbers. We retain only the Stripe transaction ID, amount, and status.

Proof and Completion Media

• Photos and videos submitted by field vendors as proof of service completion. EXIF metadata (including GPS location tags, device identifiers, and timestamps) is stripped from all uploaded media before storage.

Platform Usage Data

• Page views, click events, and session data collected through our self-hosted analytics system (see Section 5). No third-party tracking scripts are loaded on any SimpleCurbAppeal page.

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and manage your account
• Price services using parcel-derived property metrics
• Process payments and issue receipts
• Dispatch field vendors and coordinate service completion
• Facilitate proof submission, review, and the dispute process described in the Terms of Service
• Send transactional emails (order confirmation, quote delivery, proof notification, receipt, dispute updates) — these are service emails, not marketing, and cannot be opted out of while your account is active
• Send optional marketing communications if you have opted in (you may opt out at any time — see Section 8)
• Analyze platform usage to improve the product
• Detect and prevent fraud and unauthorized access
• Comply with applicable law

All payment card transactions are handled exclusively by Stripe, Inc.(stripe.com). When you enter payment information at checkout, that data is transmitted directly to Stripe over an encrypted connection. SimpleCurbAppeal never receives, processes, or stores your raw card data.

Stripe’s use of your payment data is governed by the Stripe Privacy Policy. Stripe is certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1, the most stringent level of certification in the payment card industry.

SimpleCurbAppeal uses a self-hosted, first-party analytics system. No third-party analytics vendor (including Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or similar) is loaded on any page of this platform.

Our analytics system records page views, referrer information, and aggregate session data. It does not set persistent tracking cookies, does not fingerprint your device across sites, and does not share data with any third party. The data is used exclusively to understand platform usage and improve the product.

Completion photos and videos are uploaded by field vendors through the platform. All media is processed on upload to strip EXIF metadata, including GPS coordinates, device model, and creation timestamp. Stripped media is stored on Company infrastructure and is not shared with third parties.

Completion media is retained for 90 calendar days following the order completion date. After 90 days, media files are permanently deleted from Company storage. Order records (metadata, amounts, dates, acceptance status) are retained as part of transaction history and are not subject to the 90-day media deletion schedule.

Customers may request a copy of their completion media at any time during the 90-day retention window by contacting us at /contact. Requests received after the 90-day window cannot be fulfilled.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent, trade, or share your contact information, order history, or property data with third parties for their marketing purposes.

We share information only in the following limited circumstances:

• With field vendors — the property address, service scope, and access instructions for an order are shared with the assigned vendor to fulfill that order. Vendors are bound by confidentiality obligations in their platform agreements.
• With Stripe — payment processing data as described in Section 4.
• Legal compliance — if required by law, court order, or lawful governmental request.
• Business transfer — in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of substantially all assets of Kriger Danes LLC, data may transfer to the acquiring entity under these same privacy protections. You will be notified by email of any such transfer.

Transactional emails (order confirmations, quotes, proof notifications, receipts, dispute updates) are sent as part of the service. These cannot be opted out of while your account is active. If you close your account, transactional emails cease.

Marketing emails (platform updates, new service announcements, promotional offers) are sent only if you have opted in. You may opt out at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any marketing email or by contacting us at /contact. Opt-out requests are honored within 10 business days.

Suppression list entries are permanent and are not reversed without your explicit re-opt-in. We do not remove addresses from our suppression list for any business reason.

The Company uses industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption for all data in transit, encrypted storage for sensitive data at rest, and access controls that limit data access to personnel with a legitimate need.

No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. In the event of a data breach involving your personal information, we will notify you by email within 72 hours of becoming aware of the breach, in accordance with applicable law.

You have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
• Correction — request correction of inaccurate information.
• Deletion — request deletion of your account and associated personal data, subject to retention obligations for transaction records required by law or for dispute resolution.
• Portability — request your order history in a structured, machine-readable format.
• Opt out of marketing communications at any time.

SimpleCurbAppeal is a B2B and professional property services platform not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 18 years of age. If you believe a minor has submitted information through the platform, please contact us immediately.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email at least 14 days before taking effect. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent version. Continued use of the platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
